Breaded Chicken Patties with Pan Fried Green Tomatoes in Cast Iron
Start with some breaded chicken patties. Add some fresh Green tomato’s from the garden. Toss in a sizzling cast iron pan. Then top with some melted mozzarella. Sound good yet? Well here we go. let’s make this delicious breaded chicken and green tomato recipe.

Either buy frozen pre breaded chicken patties or dredge and dust your own. Take our breaded chicken patties. Fry them in some butter (or oil of choice) in the cast iron pan, 3 to 4 minutes per side. While the chicken is cooking chop up the green tomato’s.
After the first flip I add the green tomatoes and cheese on top of the chicken patties. Put another cast iron pan on top to help speed up the cooking process. When the breaded chicken patties are golden brown with a nice layer of melted mozzarella. I generally dust with some parmesian and garlic salt to taste.
