These hoagies with dry aged steak are a great lunch or dinner time treat. I used some chuck steak dry aged with sea salt and rosemary. Aged about a week. Depending on how much “Beefy” flavor one wants adjust the time accordingly.

Accompanying the steak are some fresh tomato’s, red onions and American cheese. I whipped up a folded rosemary and basil cream cheese spread. Could serve with mayonnaise and brown mustard, or whatever suits your taste’s. Horseradish works really well too.

Cube the steak pieces. Fry up the steak in some butter infused with Rosemary. Approximately 3-5 minutes. The longer the fry the crispier.

Chop the tomatoes and onions. I generally put the steak on the bottom so the bread soaks up some fat. then layer cheese, tomato’s and red onions. Then dress the sandwich with condiments of choice.
